so NOT gonna say i told u so

my mum used to say that love is blind ... blind, deaf, dumb, and STUPID. yeah, she used to say that to me alllllll the time, u know? so like, i try really hard to keep that in mind when i look around me. i try really hard to think critically. but yeah, it all goes back to what good old mum used to say ... blind, deaf, dumb and stupid beyond all reason.

cos isn't that what its all about? u don't fall in love brain to brain. if that were the case, dang ... think the human race would've died out by now. no. we fall in love with our hearts. and it takes a pretty powerful kick upside the head to open our eyes. that's what lifetime network says.

kk so what? well, a couple months ago, suki and i were talking about her moving out to her own place. everybody wants their own place, u know? okay, we all understand that. but the question is, if she's hellbent on saving money for college ... why's she moving out? cos like ... getting ur own place ... that means ur paying rent ... buying food ... hell, in her case, ur even having to figure out transportation lol

kk but everybody wants a place of their own. independence. privacy from the evil mom eye lol

so she went ahead and moved out. but to keep the rent low, she got a roomie. yeah, u guessed it. the friend. we've heard this before, right?

they haven't even lived together a month ... and suddenly they have another roomie (his friend) not to mention another person who's constantly there (one of his ex roomies) not to mention the place looks ... well .... freakin depressing if u ask me (but who's askin lol) ... and food is costing alot but he's low on $$ so she's buying most of it, and they need schtuff for the place but he's low on $$ so she's buying most of it, and ... yadda yadda yadda

so its thanksgiving weekend and she tells me she wants us to have thanksgiving dinner together .... just nuck, me, and her (and not the friend who's supposed to be a bf but sounds more like he thinks of himself as friend with benefits, yanno?) ... and he gets mad although i really don't know what she told him ...

and they drove down to see his family and she got an earful about his financial lack of responsibility. as in suki tells me his rents are taking their names off his account cos they don't want to be financially liable for it anymore (its already cost them quite a bit) ....

and honestly? suki looks like crap. why is that??? um how about because she's up late yakkin with the people who just seem to be there all the time ... and she's workin full time but trying to juggle the household chores cos "well, he's not really understanding what i mean by clean up" ...

and here we are, the second month looming on the horizon (wow a week away) and she sounds as though she's almost in tears.

so what could i say?

we have a spare bed. we're a phone call away. we'll even bring the van to pick up her schtuff (not a good idea to leave anything there cos along with not really understanding the concept of CHORES he also doesn't grasp the concept of locking doors yanno?) what else COULD i say?

what i didn't say is, i told u so. cos that ranked right up there with "love is blind deaf dumb and stupid."
