when is it cheating?
when we got back from christmas break, a friend of mine seemed pretty preoccupied ... stressed, even. so stupid me, i asked what was wrong. turns out, this friend has feelings for a person. which is normal i guess???? except this friend is already IN a relationship. a long term one. ouchness.
well, talking about it seemed to help a little, and that was kewl, right?
WRONG.
cos friend said the next day, that they spend a lot of time together, just talking while they work on schtuff. okay, that's kewl, right?
friend the NEXT day, says they seeeeeeeem to run into each other all the time, so when they do, they talk. well, huh. i mean, that's okay, right?
friend the next day, says they have been talking about how they both seem to have feelings for each other, which is not a good thing since each are in long term relationships. huh. ouchness, even. but its all just talk, so its all innocence, right?
friend NEXT day tells me well, okay, they've hugged when they see each other, but they both realize they should back off.
friend NEXT time tells me they hold hands.
and u guessed it ...
friend next day tells me okay, they've kissed.
friend by this time is really pizzoring me off cos friend won't talk about anything else except the other person, and friend is CONSTANTLY talking about the other person.
... and it turns out, they've kissed alot.
and all this time, i've saying till i'm blue in the face ... a commitment is a commitment. if its not working out, okay, then get out of it. but while ur IN a commitment, sry but ya don't fool around.
that ain't right.
so now friend (or should i say the person who was once known as friend????) says both friend and the other person are talking about ditching their respective long term relationships.
huh.
what the frog am i sposed to say? "oh. that's a nice haircut."
sry but i feel totally lied to and used and so long as friend is saying they'll stay in their long term relationships for now because it would be awkward ????????
