heeeeeere's ur sign ...

yeah. our little town got flooded. it takes something like that to learn really strange things about the ppl u thought u knew.

"the town got flooded! why can't u just call those stupid cashiers and tell them to come to work!"
"wow. now the school really looks like a prison ... we even got a moat."
"okay like, they said we can't drink the water ... but this is from the water fountain."
"when they say water and sewer restrictions, does that mean i should take my laundry to the laundromat?"
"so if the busses can't get through, does that mean i need to get a ride to school?"
"you should have seen it! the water was so high, it like whooooshed his car into the water! like, i'm pretty sure he's gonna have to get his car detailed or something."
"yeah and the stupid thing is, the roads were all flooded and i couldn't start my car and the taxi place i called, they were like 'we can't come.' .... god, what's wrong with them?"

one of our neighbors was mad cos the insurance company told him that his flooded basement wasn't covered because he had a sewer policy, not a flood policy ... so he unstopped the sewer drain in his basement. he got even madder when the insurance company said his policy didn't cover deliberate damage ... cos now he's got 2ft of sewage in the basement

just makes u wonder about ppl, yanno?
